How I Practice
Leadership, like craft, is about making something that lasts.
It’s about exercising judgment in the midst of complexity, shaping culture with intention, and refining how people work and communicate together—especially when clarity is hard to come by.
That’s the work I do with organizations every day: partnering with leaders to bring care, skill, and disciplined attention to what they are building—teams, strategies, cultures, and trust.
Why I Founded Corporate Craft
Throughout my career, I’ve worked alongside executives, boards, and leadership teams to strengthen how they lead, how they work together, and how they make decisions.
I’ve served as a creative director and nonprofit leader, and I understand the pressure leaders face when people, culture, and strategy fall out of alignment. I’ve worked with organizations ranging from family-owned businesses navigating transition to senior executive teams seeking time and space to reconnect with shared purpose.
Corporate Craft grew out of that experience.
Craft isn’t about perfection. It’s about judgment, care, and taking responsibility for the things we shape. When that mindset is shared across an organization, leaders move from fragmentation to alignment, from uncertainty to clarity—and real progress becomes possible.
My Work Beyond Consulting
In addition to my consulting and facilitation work, I serve in several leadership and governance roles that continue to shape how I think about organizations, systems, and shared responsibility.
I am the founder of the George Masa Foundation, which helps young people connect with conservation through creative practice. I serve as Councilor for Communications with the Carolina Mountain Club, one of the nation’s oldest and most respected trail organizations, and as a trustee of the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, supporting stewardship of one of the country’s most iconic public landscapes and the shared responsibility required to sustain it. I also executive produced an award-winning family film—an experience that deepened my understanding of narrative, collaboration, and the discipline required to bring complex, values-driven work to completion.
These experiences reinforce a core belief: sustained progress comes from small, steady efforts—done with care, over time, and in relationship with others.
What Sets My Work Apart
What distinguishes my work isn’t just experience—it’s how I show up.
Thoughtful. Attentive. Honest.
Focused on the long game, not the quick fix.
I help leaders and teams practice leadership in real time—so the work they’re doing feels not only doable, but worth doing.
